About Lithium Acetate Dihydrate

Lithium Acetate Dihydrate is a moderately water soluble crystalline Lithium source that decomposes to Lithium oxide on heating. Lithium acetate dihydrate may be used in the preparation of 1.0M solution of lithium acetate and single crystals of lithium acetate dihydrate. Lithium acetate dihydrate is used as a buffer component in the modified ninhydrin reagent for amino analysis by ion-exchange chromatography.
