About Benzamide
Benzamide is the simplest amide derivative of benzoic acid which is moderately soluble in water but soluble in many organic solvents. Benzamide is a derivative of benzoic acid, it is a natural alkaloid found in the herbs of Berberis pruinosa in nature. It can be manufactured from benzoyl chloride and ammonia or ammonium carbonate.
