About Ammonium Phosphate Dibasic
Ammonium phosphate dibasic is an inorganic phosphate, being the diammonium salt of phosphoric acid. It is part of a series of water soluble ammonium phosphate salts.
Ammonium phosphate dibasic has been used to prepare multi-shell nanoparticles to increase transfection efficiency. Obtained as a crystalline powder, DAP is commonly used as a fertilizer and has been used as a fire retardant.
