About Tetrahydrofuran
THF (Tetrahydrofuran) is a colorless, water-miscible organic compound with ether-like odor and low viscosity. It is a stable compound with relatively low boiling point and excellent solvency.
Tetrahydrofuran was used as a solvent in the formation of diacetylinic polymers. THF has many industry uses as a solvent including in high polymers, rubber, adhesives, polymer and protective coating, inks, and PVC and in the production of nylon.
