About Pine oil
Pine oil which has a strong piny odor is an essential oil obtained by the steam distillation of twigs, needles and cones from a variety of pine species, particularly Pinus sylvestris. pine oil consists mainly of α-terpineol and other cyclic terpene alcohols.
Pine oil is used as a cleaning product, sanitizer, disinfectant, microbistat, and insecticide. It is used in aromatherapy and in bath oils.
