About Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide with the formula H2O2 is colourless or pale blue liquid. Hydrogen peroxide is a reactive oxygen species and the simplest peroxide, a compound having an oxygen–oxygen single bond.
This clear liquid can be used for first aid, bleaching, water treatment, and more. Majority of H2O2 is used for pulp- and paper-bleaching. It is also used in the manufacture of sodium percarbonate and sodium perborate, which are used as mild bleaches in laundry detergents. It is also used in the production of various organic peroxides.
