Dipentene, also known as limonene is a colorless liquid that is the major component in the oil of citrus fruit peels. Dipentene is a terpene liquid found in various volatile oils such as cardamon, nutmeg , mace, turpentine oil.
Dipentene is used as an intermediate for terpene resins, terylene, and rubber chemicals. Dipentene is used as a solvent for resins, waxes and to make enamels, paints, lacquers and polishes. It is used as a perfumery composition for soaps, personal care products and cosmetics.
