Diisopropyl ether (DIPE) is secondary ether that is a sweet-smelling, colorless liquid that is slightly soluble in water.
The most common use of Di isopropyl ether is as a solvent. It is also used as a solvent in paint thinners and stain removers. DIPE also plays a role in the manufacturing process of numerous solvents used for resins and coatings, as well as in waste management.
