About Coco Diethanolamide
It is a diethanolamide made by reacting the mixture of fatty acids from coconut oils with diethanolamine. Coconut diethanolamide is a mixture of amines able to neutralize acids to form salts plus water through an exothermic reaction.
The product is a non-ionic surfactant and is popular for its features of outstanding solvency and cleansing rate. It is used as an emulsifying agent, emulsion stabilizer, surfactant, thickener, and viscosity builder for cosmetic surfactant formulas. CDEA is typically used as a foaming agent in shampoos, hand soaps, and bath products.
