About Chlorinated Paraffin Wax
Chlorinated paraffin wax is an organic compounds containing chloride polychlorinated n-alkanes which is transparent viscous liquid having distinct sweet odor, and insoluble in water but soluble in other chlorinated solvents. It is produced by chlorination of straight-chained paraffin wax fractions. The raw materials required for manufacturing chlorinated paraffin wax are paraffin wax, chlorine, Sodium carbonate, activated carbon.
Chlorinated Paraffin Wax (CPW) is used in a wide range of industrial applications including flame retardants and plasticisers. Widely used in the production of cable materials, floor, panel , shoes, rubber and other products.
